Services

Using our training as educators, mediators, researchers, and writers, we work with organizations to address complex pasts and to facilitate difficult conversations around past inequities and injustices.  These can range from issues involving founders to the names and locations of significant buildings, from monuments to archival holdings and practices that do not represent current standards but for which there must be accountability.

We have experience working in many sectors of higher ed; with communities of color around truth and reconciliation; and in corporate accountability in the financial technology sector.  We aim to provide clear, measurable steps for clients to carry themselves and their constituents forward into a more just and equitable future while always affirming their core beliefs. We offer the following services that clients can choose from according to their needs:

  • one-on-one consultations with individuals or groups, with the goal of allowing all stakeholders to share their stories fully and to articulate their concerns about the past and expectations for the future

  • careful and thorough research projects, led by historians trained in archival recovery and analysis

  • historical accountability self-assessments, with assistance reporting findings to constituents and the public

  • leadership support

  • mediated workshops with community partners

  • templated plans for restorative outcomes that complement institutional DNA

  • follow-up accountability training

We work in a variety of media, and can tailor products and services to your constituents: from reports to talking points, podcasts to webinars to in-person or virtual workshops.Every client requires a fresh strategy. Montgomery Will seeks to provide measurable results that reflect proactive reckoning, transparency, and future-oriented commitment to equity, accuracy, and inclusivity across all institutions, organizations, and companies.
